Evaluate Deviations from Thermal and Aseptic Processes and Provide Disposition Recommendations for the Affected Product Lots:

All of the regulations that govern the processing of low-acid and acidified foods require that all process deviations be evaluated by a recognized process authority before the affected product lots can be released into commercial distribution channels. Additionally, all processors of such foods are required to maintain separate records that detail the evaluation and disposition of such product lots. As your Process Authority Partner, IEH will provide you with in-depth investigations and evaluations of your process deviations. Our disposition recommendations will provide a synopsis of the methods and data that we used and the conclusions that we came to. In some instances, the steps toward resolution of deviations might involve the additional steps of sorting and incubating portions or all of the lot and microbiological or other examination of samples from the lot. We will assist in the design and implementation of those steps. If you discover a problem with product in the distribution chain, as your partner, we will advise you on the implementation of a recall, including contact with regulatory agencies, preparation of press releases, should those steps be necessary.
