Thermal and Aseptic Process Recommendations

A process recommendation, from the perspective of regulatory agencies, is a formal written recommendation to the processor from a process authority that lists recommended times and temperatures in addition to all product and process equipment critical factors necessary for the production of safe shelf-stable commercially sterile food products.

As a process authority, we develop data, or we utilize data provided to us by others necessary to support our process recommendations. We can often utilize data from our large data base and archives to fit many particular processing situations without having to start at square one; but if we need to start at square one, we have the equipment and the expertise to do so.

We have the added advantages of excellent name recognition in the industry and the respect of the regulatory agencies for our expertise and the quality of our work. As your partners, we will provide you with the most thorough and complete process recommendations based on the most up to date information that we have. For aseptic processing systems, we will use experimental data that we or others have developed to make an operating guidelines document for the system that details sequentially all procedures and steps necessary to bring the fillers and processors to a sterile and production-ready state. The document will also provide the time and temperature process matrices for all products and flow rates that the processor needs for production. All critical factors and their values for sterility maintenance, the methods and frequencies of critical factor recordation, the actions to be taken in the event of in-progress deviations, will all be detailed in the document.
