IEH Center for Food & Pharmaceutical Process Safety, Inc.
The IEH Center for Food & Pharmaceutical Safety, Inc. (CFPPS), part of
the IEH Laboratories & Consulting Group
network, provides consulting and technical support to the processed food and
pharmaceutical industries in the areas of sterilization process design and
implementation for shelf stable food and pharmaceutical products.
The technical staff members, Jay Unverferth, Mark Deniston, Dr. Kurt Wiese,
Rafal Knap, and Dr. Dilip Chandarana, bring more than 120 years of combined
expertise to the Center in disciplines as diverse as food microbiology, sterilization
process engineering, electronic controls and record keeping, and process bio-validation
for the shelf-stable food products and pharmaceutical products industries.
Each of the technical staff is well recognized as process authorities by the
Food and Drug Administration and the United States Department of Agriculture
Food Safety and Inspection Service.
