Mark is a Research Associate with the University of California Laboratory for Research in Food Preservation. Mark has been with the University of California for 19 years, and prior to coming to UC, he spent a few years with Del Monte Research and Development. Mark has spent most of his career doing thermal process development work for the food industry and some of his career doing other food process development work in the areas of essence recovery and filtration. During two college summers, Mark worked in production management positions at Del Monte and Tri-Valley Growers.
